The short answer is a qualified "yes".
Different systems require attendance data in different formats. Schoolrunner supports the following systems. Read on to see what will work for your system of choice and contact support@schoolrunner.org with additional questions.
PowerSchool
Schoolrunner can export attendance data into a format that can be fed automatically into PowerSchool. This can be done for daily attendance, class attendance (called "meeting attendance" in PS), or both.
Be sure to contact Schoolrunner about this, as there is coordination and configuration that happens on both the Schoolrunner side of things and the school/district side of things. This document goes over in detail everything that you or someone at your school/district will need to do in PS (this is a one-time setup).
It's also possible to simply download PS-formatted exports from Schoolrunner and manually upload them into PS whenever you want. This is possible for both daily attendance and class attendance.
ParentSquare
More info on our export for ParentSquare can be found here, but in a nutshell: let us know that you want your attendance data formatted for ParentSquare. You'll be able to download a file that you can upload into ParentSquare whenever needed. Schoolrunner's ParentSquare export is for daily attendance only.
To automate things, Schoolrunner can also export data to ParentSquare's SFTP site (you will be responsible for providing Schoolrunner with access).
Basic Exports
Schoolrunner has basic attendance exports formatted to our own specifications. These exports are available for both daily attendance and class attendance. If your external system can be configured to accept our basic exports, we can export these files to our SFTP site, from which your external system can fetch them (with credentials that will be provided to you). We may also be able to export them to your system's SFTP site if you provide credentials to us.
Custom Exports/Other Systems
If the above options aren't sufficient, it's possible to use Schoolrunner's application programming interface (API) to generate attendance exports to your own specifications, or to those of another system. Use of any API requires some basic coding skill. Contact Schoolrunner if you'd like to learn more about our API and how it may help you out.
