When students take a course in Schoolrunner, it's actually a function of two different things: the student is enrolled in a section, and that section is mapped to a course.
For a particular student, you can view his/her sections and courses in the "Sections" tab on the Student Profile.
You can also start from the course page. Look at the list of sections mapped to the course in the summary box.
If Schoolrunner syncs in sections and course data from your SIS, the first time that a new section is available, our system will map it to a course in Schoolrunner that matches the course it's aligned to in your SIS. If we don't see a match, we may make a new course automatically (depending on your settings) and map the section to that.
Note that subsequent changes to section mappings in your SIS will not make updates in Schoolrunner. This is to allow for custom mappings and courses in Schoolrunner that don't exist in your SIS.
If you want to make changes, to either add new section mappings or remove old section mappings, click the "edit" link next to the course name on any course page.
From the "Edit Course" screen, you can adjust which sections are mapped to this course.
Based on the sections you choose or deselect, new students will be eligible for grades in this course, or students will be taken out of the course and no longer be eligible for grades.
