Use filters on the Analysis page to keep track of students that are in danger of truancy. You can view the info as a chart, as a pivot table, or both. Choose the "Attendance" dataset, then set "Breakout" to "By Scholar" and "Series Breakout" to "By Attendance Type". Choosing a horizontal bar chart is useful for this report.
Then, in "Results", select whatever attendance codes you want to check for. Alternately, you can just use the"In School" filter buttons to have Schoolrunner automatically filter for all records that count as out-of-school. If you want to track truancy for only a certain group of students, select that group from the "Enrollments & Demographics" tab. Click the "Load Data" button.
For a different perspective on things, use the pivot table. Once you’ve configured the chart as detailed above, choose "Student" and "Attendance Type" from the "Left" and "Left Breakout" menus, respectively.
