What do I need to know about the student "Contacts" screen?

The "Contacts" tab shows a lot of useful information, including the last logged communication, any linked students, and adult contacts for the student.

The top section of the "Contacts" screen shows information about the last logged communication for this student. It's color-coded according to your school's settings. You'll also see a summary of the most recent communication, including how it was made, what it was about, and who was spoken to. Tap this for more details, or to see previous communication logs.

If there are any linked students, you'll see these kids on the "Contacts" screen as well. You can tap the title of this section to collapse or expand this, if you want. More on how student links are determined here.

Adult contacts for the student are listed below. These listings tell you about the relation of the adult to the student and list contact options, including (depending on the data present in Schoolrunner) phone numbers and an email address.

Use the icons to initiate a call, text, or email right from within the Schoolrunner app. You'll be prompted to log your communication as soon as you're done. You can also swipe left on contact details to log a record without actually making a call, text, or email if you want!
