How do I make calls from the mobile app?

First, be sure to use the Schoolrunner 2.0 mobile app!

Make sure you're in the "Contacts" tab of a student profile. Then, tap the number to make a call on your phone. When you hang up, you'll be prompted to log a record of your call.

You can also tap on email addresses on the "Contacts" screen to email directly from your phone, or tap the SMS icon to send a text message. You'll see the same screen prompting you to log a record after you send your message.

You can also swipe left on any phone number or email address to log a record without actually making a call or sending a text or email.

If you need to edit any details of a communication record after it's been logged, visit the student profile and tap into the "History" tab. You'll see recent communication records. Tap into one to view and edit its details.

Note: if you're using a personal device and want to block your number from the people you're calling, you can do so on the "Settings" screen. Learn more here. On Android devices, you can also call from a Google Voice number.
