The "Copy Between Schools" function allows you to do the work once, and then apply it across all of your other schools. Note that this is only available if you have two or more schools in Schoolrunner! See here if you need to set up another school.
"Copy Between Schools" will copy full school terms, term bins, courses, course standards, and course grading methodologies across schools. This function is best used when one school has been fully set up, so you can move all that setup and config into other schools in one fell swoop!
Learn more about setting up each of these:
- Set up a school term
- Manage term bins (in School Setup)
- Set up courses (in School Setup)
- Set up course standards
- Set up grading methodologies
Start with the "From" menus. Choose the school that's been set up already, and the school term you want to replicate.
Then, in the "To" menus, choose the other schools that you want to match your "From" school. Select the matching school term as well.
If you want to copy term bins as well, click into that ab and select the individual term bins you want to copy, or just click the green check mark to select them all.
You have a few more options when you copy courses. Once you select the courses you want copied, you can choose to copy the respective standards that go with each course and the respective grading methodologies as well (including methodologies for specific term bins, if you want).
You can also choose to deactivate all other courses at your "To" school(s), to ensure that course catalogs are identical across schools.
