On the Settings page (Setup>Settings), open the "Academics" section.
- For standards-based grading settings, see here.
- For information about assessment-level options, see here.
Below are details about each academic setting you'll see.
-
ANet Student Column ID – If you import files from ANet, tell us which Schoolrunner student ID field corresponds to the student ID on the ANet file.
-
Assessment Result Display – Determine how assessment results are reported out. More here.
-
This can be overridden at the assessment level to have certain assessments be exceptions to the rule.
-
-
Course Grade Display – Determine how final course grades are reported out. More here.
- This can be overridden at the course level to have certain courses be exceptions to the rule.
-
Create New Standards Upon Import – If an assessment file you import has standards that don't currently exist in the selected course in Schoolrunner, do you want them added to that course's list of standards?
-
Default Grading Scale Set – The grading scale set that is automatically assigned to all courses.
-
This can be overridden at the course level to have certain courses be exceptions to the rule.
-
-
Default to Teacher Sections Upon Import – When creating an assessment on the Add Assessment page, should Schoolrunner only auto-select sections that are linked to the selected teacher?
-
If "Yes" is chosen, other sections can still be added manually.
-
This can be overridden at the course level to have certain courses be exceptions to the rule.
-
-
EdCaliber Student Column ID – If you import files from EdCaliber, tell us which Schoolrunner student ID field corresponds to the student ID on the EdCaliber file.
-
Eduphoria! Student Column ID – If you import files from Eduphoria!, tell us which Schoolrunner student ID field corresponds to the student ID on the Eduphoria! file.
-
Exclude Missing Scores From Grade – Should missing results be left out of grade calculations?
-
This can be overridden at the course level to have certain courses be exceptions to the rule.
-
- Field for Modified Grading Scale – If a student attribute reflects modified grading scales for certain students, choose that field here. The Schoolrunner system expects percentages in this field.
- GradeCam – This allows you to utilize Schoolrunner’s GradeCam integration to scan bubble sheets.
- Group Students by Section – Should students be grouped by section (and then alphabetically) on the "Input" tab of the Add Assessment? Choose "No" only if you want all students listed alphabetically, regardless of section.
- Minimum Grade– If students are not allowed to receive zeros, indicate the minimum score they can receive. Leave blank for no minimum.
- This applies to assessment results, not directly course grades. However, since course grades are based on assessment results, the minimum score will still affect course grades.
- Progress Report Columns– Select or deselect categories that you want included on progress reports by default.
- Default columns can still be adjusted on the Progress Reports page.
- Show Grading Scale Levels – When adding an assessment, do you want teachers to have a drop-down menu that allows them to deselect certain levels for that assessment?
