How do the detention auto-reset settings work?

These settings were in beta for a long time are going to be gradually phased out of Schoolrunner. If you currently use them, Schoolrunner will continue to support them, but these settings are not available to schools who don't already use them.

If you have questions about these settings, please contact your Schoolrunner administrator. These settings automatically hide all traces of detention resets and maximum limits in real time. If utilized, please ensure your entire staff is trained on how they work, since the lack of transparency can be confusing if you're unaware of how these function.

Automatic daily or weekly resets can be accomplished with scheduled tasks, which is more transparent and flexible. Learn how to configure scheduled tasks here and here.
