Report cards are translated by Google Translate. If you don't like the automatic translation, you can control how a word or phrase is translated, or you can choose to not translate it at all.
Visit the Translations page via the Configure page (you'll need the "Edit Translations" permission). From here, you can see which words and phrases make up your school's library of translations.
If you don't see the word or phrase you're looking for, translate a batch of report cards to build your library and make sure your word or phrase is included somewhere in that batch. Then come back to this page. Schoolrunner needs to have a word or phrase translated at least once before you can modify or block the translation.
Use the search bar to narrow down translations by language, original text, or translated text. Once you find the word or phrase you're looking for, click on it.
From here, you can modify the translation. If you don't like Google Translate's interpretation, you can adjust it in the "Translation" box.
If you don't want this word or phrase translated at all, copy/paste whatever is in the "Text" field into the "Translation" field. This tells Schoolrunner to respect the original text.
Note that any modifications to translations will need to be done for each language. For example, if you generate report cards in both Spanish and Russian and you don't want "Social Studies 6" translated in either language, you'll need to modify the Spanish entry for "Social Studies 6" and the Russian entry too.
