Matching the order in which students are displayed on your Class Attendance page to the actual layout of your classroom can be done with a simple spreadsheet. Click the gray seating chart download button located next to the green "Save" button.
This generates a spreadsheet with your students arranged in a grid. Move them around within the grid by cutting and pasting. (Be sure not to change the actual name or number in any cells; just move everything as it is displayed when you download the file.)
When your changes are complete, save the file and then drag and drop it back onto the page. (You can drop it anywhere on the screen.)
You’ll see a confirmation that your changes have been saved and you'll see students organized the same way that you arranged them in the spreadsheet.
