How do I translate messages?

If English is not your preferred language, switch things up from the "Settings" screen. To get there, open the app menu (accessed via the "hamburger" icon in the upper left of your home screen, or pull out from the left side of any screen) and tap "Settings".

You can also get to this screen from any conversation by tapping the three-dot icon in the upper right. Tap "Change Language", then "Home Language", and then choose your preferred language. This ensures that any message sent to you will be translated into this language.

A couple things to note:

• Language translation applies only to messages sent to you. It doesn't translate any other part of the Schoolrunner 2.0 app right now.
• To ensure that translation works correctly, make sure that your phone's keyboard language matches the choice you make in the "Home Language" setting!
• If the message you received doesn't make sense, you can tap "View original" beneath the message to see the original, untranslated message. Tap it again (it'll say "View translation") to switch back.
