When calling from the Schoolrunner app, there are two standard options: allow your phone number to be seen by your call recipients, or block your number.
If you use an Android device, you have a third option: use a Google Voice number to call out.
This way, you can call a parent and have a real phone number display (which isn't your personal number), which may make it more likely that your call will be answered (when compared with blocking your number which shows "Unknown Caller".)
This is not an option for iPhones, unfortunately.
If you set up Google Voice to ask you which number you want to use for each call, you will see the prompt above when you call out of Schoolrunner (any any other app on your phone). Tap "Google Voice" to show your Google Voice number to the people you're calling or tap "Use carrier number" to use your personal number.
