Progress Reports – Printing Improvements
We've heard that our users have a handful of issues with progress reports when it comes to printing. The two most common improvement requests we hear are:
- Accommodate page breaks/insert blank pages between students to allow for double-sided printing that doesn't put two different students on the two sides of a single piece of paper (similar to the feature currently available for report cards).
- Manage space better. Currently, we put one course on each page. This doesn't always fill up the page, which can leave unused space on the page.
We'd love to hear more about how you would like to see these two improvements implemented. Number 1 is seems pretty straight-forward, but all feedback will be helpful.
Number 2 has many more potential routes: clustering half-page courses together on one page if possible, a different design to shrink the amount of space each course takes up, etc. Naturally, the size of a progress report is variable with the number of assessments included, making this variability a challenge to design. Any thoughts about how you would ideally like to see progress reports displayed for printing will be much appreciated.
